post dinner walk home with a Drumstick

Went to Marvito with some friends Friday night. I felt strange this entire day, but not for any reason dramatic enough to explain.
Adult life just sometimes feels embarrassingly similar to high school. There are still social hierarchies, and this sensation that everyone else received the same guide to life that I missed. I can never tell if I’m bad at communicating/expressing myself or maybe I’m just “the loner”. I think a bit of both.
My friends offered me a ride but I wanted a snack so I walked home alone. I stopped by the gas station and the clerk asked about my night “AH MARVITO IT’S KIND OF LIKE A RIP-OFF THERE, RIGHT?” I laughed as he unlocked the ice cream freezer for me. I took selfies with my cone and walked home in my Prada clogs.

Face mask & my “young ho salad” pre shoot prep

Easton Marley

Modeled for Easton Marley on Monday. I’ve honestly been eyeing their dress on IG for a while so I was so excited when they invited me in to shoot.
I think shooting with self timer may become my new thing? However, I think these look particularly “cool” because I’m in a studio. I’m hoping my new apartment will have good light and lots of white space.
Bode store

Only my second time in Bode on Melrose, but it’s a special store. I can’t afford anything there, so I was too shy to try anything on. Some exceptionally dressed tourists were shopping and I wanted the associates to stay focused on them. Still, I loved the idea of one-of-a-kind pants and shorts folded on these open shelves.
P.S. I’m wearing my mom’s moccasins from the 80s. They need to be re-soled. Does anyone have a good cobbler rec in the West Hollywood area?
Petit Trois
Someone replied to my IG story of this Petit Trois burger “OK BUT HOW DO YOU EAT IT IF THE BOTTOM BUN’S IN THE SAUCE?” to which I simply replied “Messily".
Petit Trois has held top three rankings of my favorite LA burger for years. And this bitter endive salad softened by the avocado and walnuts at the bottom (photo below) was also delicious. They really can’t miss!
Laurel Supply
If you’re on LA TikTok at all, I’m sure you’ve seen the new Erewhon dupe that opened up on Santa Monica Blvd in WeHo. At first, I was skeptical. The shelves were empty on a Friday night, they opened at noon (late) during opening week?? But I went back at 11:45 AM on a Wednesday, effortlessly parked in their lot, and was first in line when the doors opened. The 50-ish people behind me literally applauded as I confidently marched straight to the smoothie bar FIRST OF THE DAY.
And I must say, Laurel Supply really nailed how to make a smoothie. If you know me at all, you know that I am a stickler for a thick smoothie. Their post workout smoothie was thick, delicious, and $16. Not too crazy during these times.
Also, they have Richard Prince art hung up all around the store. I didn’t know this fact until a friend of a friend, Quinn, posted about it. OKAY I’M SOLD.

That’s it for now! As always, thanks for reading and follow me on IG for REAL-TIME updates. Also, I’m planning out some juicy Substack content soon hehehehe
